Celebrating 30 years with Director Paulette Bowes

On Sunday, October 23rd over 180 members of the Newton community came together at All Newton Music School for a celebratory concert honoring ANMS’ executive director of 30 years, Paulette Bowes.

Clarinetist Paulette Bowes was joined by Violinists Arturo Delmoni and Lucia Lin, Violist Scott Woolweaver, Cellist Owen Young, Soprano Pamela Wolfe, and bassist Moises Carrasco in a concert of Mozart and Weber clarinet quintets as well as Schubert’s Shepherd on the Rock.

We were thrilled to be joined by former Newton mayor, Honorable David Cohen, who shared with us Official Citations the State Senate and the House of Representatives, recognizing Paulette Bowes for her incredible 30 years devoted to bringing the joy of music to the Newton community. The Official Citations were signed by President of the Senate Stanley Rosenberg, Clerk of the Senate William Welch, Senator Cynthia Stone Creem, Speaker of the House Robert DeLeo, Rep. Kay Khan, Rep. Ruth B. Balser, and Rep. John Lawn.
